Job summary

Connection is seeking a Principal Solution Sales Executive to drive strategic, solution-based conversations at the C/S-Level and win new business across server, storage, networking, cloud, and services. This remote direct-hire role targets the central states with 25–50% travel, primarily to Texas, and offers a strong base plus commissions with an annual OTE in the six-figure range.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a similar or IT leadership role with solution sales experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of IT, datacenter tech, and OEM vendors.
• Proven ability to drive complex, strategic sales to C-level and manage key accounts.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to clients within target accounts, aligning with business outcomes.
• Develop short- and long-term solution strategies for clients.
• Support sales segments to sell complex hardware, software, and services.
• Maintain relationships with account managers, COE, vendors, and customers.
• Lead comprehensive solution sales processes including registration, negotiations, and reviews.
• Deliver customer presentations and promote Connection capabilities and value.
