Connection is seeking a Principal Solution Sales Executive to lead strategic, C-level conversations and win large-scale IT solutions across servers, storage, networking, cloud, virtualization, and services.

The role is remote direct hire with travel 25-50% mainly within the Texas region, offering a strong base plus commission. Realistic OTE in the $250-300K+ range in year one with substantial growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a similar solution sales role or IT leadership with consultative, solution-based sales.
• Strong knowledge of IT datacenter technologies including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud and services.
• Proven ability to manage strategic accounts, develop long-term plans, and achieve revenue targets.
• Ability to engage C/S-level executives with strategic, consultative selling approaches.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a trusted advisor to clients within assigned accounts, aligning value to business outcomes.
• Develops short- and long-term solution strategies for clients.
• Supports all sales segments to sell complex technology solutions (hardware, software, services).
• Delivers customer meetings, presentations, and quarterly business reviews to advance opportunities.
