Job summary

Aptive Environmental, LLC is seeking a Senior Safety Manager for Provo, Utah (remote option). You will lead enterprise safety programs to reduce auto incidents and workers’ compensation injuries in a route-based service environment.

You will design, implement and embed safety into daily operations using data-driven coaching, telematics, GPS routing, and defensible driver programs. Collaboration with Operations and IT is key to safe, efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
• Certified Fleet Safety Director (CFSD) preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in safety management
• Deep expertise in safety management within route-based or field service environments
• Proficiency in telematics platforms, data analysis, and translating safety data into insights

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise-wide telematics to monitor high-risk driving behaviours
• Use real-time data to coach technicians and reduce incidents
• Integrate safety into service workflows with digital checklists and hard stops
• Develop field observation programs to identify near-misses
• Oversee workers' compensation case management
• Prepare executive dashboards showing ROI of safety initiatives
