Job summary

ADP is hiring a Proposal Consultant within its Commercial Operations Center of Excellence. This role supports sales and internal teams to develop high-quality proposal responses, leveraging our content database to deliver timely, accurate, concise, and strategic RFx responses.

The candidate will lead complex projects, coordinate with Product, Operations and Sales, and ensure consistency of tone and messaging.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years’ experience in technical, proposal or business writing.
• Prior experience supporting proposals or providing sales support.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial drafts of RFx (RFP, RFI, RFQ, etc.) responses using the designated software (Responsive).
• Take project management approach to each unique response, to track changes and delays, and ensure all stakeholders are involved throughout the process.
• Manage version control, generating additional or revised drafts of RFx responses by merging information delivered by Product, Operations and Sales.
• Develop customized executive summaries and cover letters to align with sales messaging.
• Provide final edit by reviewing completed document to ensure consistency and accuracy in tone/voice of response.
• Develop/maintain good working knowledge of current service capabilities and future direction.
• Form effective business relationships with a variety of internal clients.
