Job summary

Hexagon AB in Cobham, UK, is seeking a Strategic Pricing Lead for the Production Software portfolio. The role covers global pricing strategy across CAD/CAM and quality software brands, with governance and analytics to support commercial decisions.

You will collaborate with Product Management, regional leaders, Sales and Commercial Operations to improve price realisation, reduce discounting and create clear value across channels.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in strategic pricing, commercial finance, revenue management or related field.
• Experience building pocket price/waterfall analyses from transaction-level data.
• Strong pricing governance, discount policy or delegation experience.
• Advanced Excel and SQL with BI/reporting tool experience.
• Experience pricing across multiple markets, products or channels.
• Ability to translate data into pricing recommendations and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience with multi-brand pricing and, ideally, software licensing models.

Responsibilities

• Define regional/brand discount targets and pricing governance with clear thresholds.
• Own the pocket price waterfall: list price, discounts, margins, promotions, rebates.
• Analyse price performance and identify opportunities across brands and channels.
• Conduct price-volume-mix, win/loss, price sensitivity analyses.
• Develop pricing architecture and harmonise pricing across brands/markets.
• Model pricing/revenue impact of major commercial decisions, licensing/renewals.
• Develop value-based pricing based on measurable outcomes.
• Lead annual price actions and track realisation against plans.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to embed consistent pricing practices.
• Work with CPQ and Commercial Operations to scale processes and systems.
