Job summary

TriNet, a leading HR solutions provider in the United States, seeks a Sales Consultant to pursue new prospects and sell our comprehensive HR services to SMBs (5-99 employees) across the country. You will build your own book of business, own the sales process, and present to C-level executives and business owners.

You will develop a robust pipeline, conduct meetings, write proposals, and close deals with cross-functional support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 3+ years in B2B complex sales; PEO experience preferred.
• Ability to build a book of business and manage multiple opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute an annual territory plan to hit targets across multiple states.
• Prospect and build a balanced pipeline via cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and referrals.
• Qualify opportunities quickly to focus on high-potential deals.
• Establish trusted advisor relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Manage a multi-step sales process from initial contact to closing.
• Use Salesforce.com and quoting tools to track activities.
