Job summary

ABB is seeking an HR Business Partner for the Electrification Smart Power Division. The role will provide strategic HR guidance across two organizations, including the Agile Organization in the US and a cross‑division Commercial Operations function.

You will consult with leaders, coach teams, and help design organization changes to enable growth. The position is open to remote applicants within the US with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Psychology, Business or related field from an accredited university or college; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive HR business partnership experience
• Solid knowledge of US employment law
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and ability to gather and analyze information objectively and skillfully
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Strong judgment, decision making and influencing skills
• Candidates must already possess authorization to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational HR expertise and guidance in HR strategy, culture change, and organization design.
• Act as a trusted partner to employees, managers and leaders; coach and support to manage growth and performance.
• Lead HR systems transactions, audits, and reporting; support Workday migration and data-driven decisions.
• Learn and implement ELSP Career Pilot framework and support US changes.
