Motorola Solutions, Inc. subsidiary Silvus Technologies seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements.

You will work with engineering and BD teams to demonstrate interoperability of StreamCaster MANET radios across domains, with up to 50% travel and potential remote work depending on location. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech, with SDR familiarity and ability to obtain a US SECRET clearance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS, or related C5ISR field, or HS diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communication systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizenship required for government contracts.

Mansioni

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and map needs to radio solutions.
• Support network configurations and field trials with Engineering/BD teams.
• Prepare technical demos showing low-signature, resilient, tactical edge capabilities.
• Collaborate with BD to align work with strategic priorities.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and partner integrations.
