Job summary

ERMCO is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to lead and grow relationships with key customers in the distribution transformer sector. This remote role serves as the primary contact, aligning ERMCO’s solutions with customer needs and delivering tailored strategies.

You will collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations, travel up to 50% to client sites and industry events, and contribute to business reviews, forecasts, and account plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic account management, sales, or business development.
• Proven success managing complex customer relationships and driving revenue growth.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the distribution transformer industry.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned strategic accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities within strategic accounts to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business challenges and aligning ERMCO’s offerings accordingly.
• Prepare and present regular business reviews, forecasts, and account plans to both customers and internal leadership.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing in alignment with company guidelines and customer expectations.
