Job summary

Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM) is seeking a Sales Professional to drive nationwide sales of MV/LV power distribution products through direct channels.

You will develop and maintain medium and large Electrical Contractor accounts and key end-user relationships, assembling complete project quotations to furnish full bills of materials. The role is remote-based with expected travel, reporting to the Sales Director for Strategic Accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years’ experience in the sale of power distribution equipment (MV/LV switchgear/switchboards).
• Strong track record of negotiating medium and large project orders and developing new contacts.
• Self-motivated with professionalism, excellent communication, presentation and negotiating skills.
• Experience establishing, owning, executing, and developing an Account plan.
• Experience managing projects with IEM’s Platform Execution team.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Director to establish, own, execute and continuously develop an agreed & sponsored Account plan.
• Identify and build relationships with account decision makers and influencers.
• Understand the client buying process and articulate it to the client.
• Develop proposals to meet client requirements and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
• Oversee handover to Project Management and ensure customer success.
