Qualifications

• Typically, 5+ years of sales experience.
• Storage related sales experience strongly desired.
• Expert in working with indirect channel model.
• Deep competitive knowledge of at least 1 major storage vendor.
• Expert in selling complete data lifecycle management portfolio – block, file, backup, ransomware protection & others.
• Ability to perform hands-on demo of portfolio sold in the past.
• Self-starter and able to ramp quickly.
• Preferred locations are MA, RI, NH, CT.

Responsibilities

• Sell storage products and solutions in the assigned territory.
• Prospect for new opportunities via networking and events.
• Develop pursuit plans and manage the storage sales pipeline.
• Contribute to proposals, negotiations and deal closings.
• Support Account Manager with technical expertise in client engagements up to C-level for complex solutions.
• Coordinate pipeline hygiene with account managers and partners.
• Collaborate with HPE teams for end-to-end account planning.
• Assess feasibility to qualify/disqualify opportunities.
• Negotiate deals to expand opportunities and revenue in storage.
• Lead channel enablement and co-sell to end-users.
• Drive storage marketing campaigns to launches and momentum.
• Act as trusted storage solutions consultant for designated accounts/region.
