Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Faculty Advisor for Mathematics and Statistics to act as a pedagogical expert, aligning Pearson digital products with instructors’ objectives and outcomes. The role requires expertise in Statistics at the college level and a Master’s degree, with extensive teaching experience and experience using Pearson MyLab.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics is required.
• At least 5 years of full-time teaching experience at the collegiate level in Statistics is required.
• Power-user experience with Pearson MyLab is required.
• Knowledge and experience in multiple fields in Mathematics and Statistics preferred; Data Science/Engineering desirable.
• Online teaching experience preferred; LMS experience preferred.
• Experience with Copilot and other Generative AI tools a plus.
• Ability to engage with international customers in different time zones a plus.
• Experience presenting at conferences; Collegiate Teaching Award(s) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with course-level administrators to advise on the right integration of Pearson digital products.
• Consult on digital assessment, grading, and reporting strategies; provide deep understanding of MyLab.
• Consult with customers on modifying or creating content.
• Create department-specific training resources (videos, guides, live and recorded webinars).
• Advise on development of new platforms, tools, and features with Product teams.
• Partner with Sales in campaigns, calls and meetings, demonstrations, and other enablement initiatives.
• Use success metrics and reporting to provide stakeholders with documentation of recommendations and evolution of design.
