Job summary

Float Health is hiring an Intake Specialist for a fully remote US-based role. You will manage new patient referrals, coordinate start-of-care visits, and act as a liaison between pharmacies, nurses, and patients. Strong scheduling, multitasking, and customer service are essential.

You’ll use Zendesk, Google Suite, and Slack to ensure timely staffing, accurate documentation, and a seamless patient experience. The role includes weekend availability and PST hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience with medical scheduling.
• Ability to use multiple technology platforms simultaneously.
• Manage inbound communications while supporting other tasks.
• Type at least 60 wpm with high accuracy.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving.
• Highly organized with excellent time management.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication for diverse users.
• Work well independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start of care visits and staffing using Float Health platform.
• Match nurses to patients and onboard patients to the platform.
• Manage offers to ensure nurses are paid fairly.
• Confirm logistics and schedules for home visits.
• Respond to reschedule requests and restaff needs.
• Communicate with pharmacies, nurses, and patients via email, phone, chat, and SMS.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure visit documentation is complete.
• Learn new processes and technologies continuously.
• Provide feedback to improve technology and workflows.
