Job summary

Pomelo Care, the leading virtual medical practice for women and children, seeks a technical lead to shape how patients interact with Pomelo from enrollment through care journey. You will set architecture, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams.

You’ll own mobile and web experiences using Expo + React Native, React, TypeScript, Kotlin, and SQL, guiding engagement and retention while moving fast in a startup environment. This role is remote in the continental US.

Qualifications

• Experience building consumer or patient-facing products (mobile, web, or both).
• Led a team with architecture direction and mentoring responsibilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction for mobile and patient-facing apps.
• Prototype and ship features with design and product teams; leverage AI tools.
• Shape product direction to engage patients in their first month.
