Job summary

Affirm is hiring for a senior mobile architecture lead on the App Infrastructure team. This role focuses on owning the technical strategy for mobile platforms and coordinating with product, design, and analytics to ensure scalable, reliable delivery.

You will drive high-impact features, establish code quality standards, and mentor engineers. The position is remote-first with nationwide flexibility and occasional office days as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing and architecting mobile applications.
• 4+ years of experience with React Native.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience delivering major features or deprecating functionality in a system.

Responsibilities

• Set technical strategy for the team over a year-long horizon.
• Collaborate with product management, design and analytics to align on technical sustainability and risk.
• Act as a force-multiplier by defining and promoting technical solutions and processes.
• Own team operations and on-call readiness with monitoring, runbooks, and playbooks.
