Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day and month-end accounting operations. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist internal and external audits.

The role reports to the Accounting Manager and emphasizes accuracy and timely close. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 1–3 years of accounting experience, with GAAP knowledge and Excel/ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 1–3 years of general accounting experience; new graduates considered.
• GAAP knowledge and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries including accruals and prepaid amortization.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and assist audits.
• Maintain audit-ready workpapers and documentation.
• Analyze general ledger activity for accuracy and assist with corrections.
• Support monthly financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Contribute to internal controls and process improvements.
