Cable One is seeking a dedicated Lease Accountant to maintain ASC 842 schedules and support end-to-end lease accounting processes. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting and at least one year of GL experience, with ASC 842 practical knowledge highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting with at least 1 year of general ledger accounting experience.
• ASC 842 lease accounting experience is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops detailed understanding of end-to-end lease accounting processes and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects as requested by leadership.
• Keeps abreast of FASB/SEC/PCAOB standards and assesses impact.
