Cable One is seeking a detail-oriented Lease Accounting Specialist to maintain ASC 842-driven schedules and support the accounting cycle. This role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and a clear grasp of end-to-end lease processes within a dynamic finance team.

The position provides engagement with audits, journal entries, and cross-functional collaboration while offering opportunities to stay ahead of evolving standards and disclosure requirements in a major communications company.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field and at least 1 year of GL accounting experience.
• ASC 842 lease accounting experience is highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops end-to-end understanding of lease accounting processes and stakeholders.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects and analyses as requested by leadership.
• Keeps abreast of FASB, SEC, PCAOB standards and analyzes impact.
