Job summary

Cable One is seeking a motivated accounting professional to support lease accounting across the company. You will maintain ASC 842 schedules, map end-to-end processes, and prepare analyses and journal entries to ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least one year of general ledger experience; ASC 842 experience is highly preferred. This role offers a stable full-time opportunity with benefits, and remote work options for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting.
• Minimum of one year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops understanding of end-to-end lease accounting processes and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and resolves variances.
• Supports SOX/compliance and internal/external audit activities.
• Completes special projects and keeps up with updated standards.
