Job summary

Cable One is seeking a Lease Accountant to manage ASC 842 lease accounting schedules and related end-to-end processes. You will work with stakeholders across departments to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least one year of GL accounting experience, with ASC 842 experience highly preferred. Remote-friendly with standard benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• At least 1 year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules under ASC 842.
• Develops end-to-end understanding of lease accounting processes and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX.
• Participates in special projects and monitors FASB/SEC/PCAOB updates.
• Collaborates with stakeholders across departments.
