Cable One is seeking an Accounting professional to manage lease accounting per ASC 842, perform GL journal entries, and support audits. This role emphasizes understanding end-to-end processes, internal controls, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and 1+ year of GL experience, with ASC 842 knowledge highly preferred. Remote options exist for suitable candidates in listed states.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting and at least 1 year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops understanding of end-to-end lease accounting processes, stakeholders, systems, and internal controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries for lease accounting.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects and analyses as requested by leadership.
• Keeps abreast of FASB, SEC and PCAOB standards affecting accounting practices and analyzes impacts.
