Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, and accounts payable in a government contracting environment. The role involves journal entries, reconciliations, cost distribution, and ASC 606 revenue recognition across multiple contract types, with collaboration across departments.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least three years of relevant experience, including GAAP

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Three or more years of general ledger or staff accounting experience, including government contracting experience.
• Working knowledge of FAR Part 31, DCAA audit requirements, and indirect rate structures.
• Strong GAAP understanding and account reconciliation practices.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups, and data reconciliation.
• Experience supporting audits and federal grant compliance including Single Audit procedures.

Mansioni

• Support general ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable activities, vendor invoices, and expense reports.
• Coordinate with DCAA, DCMA, and auditors and respond to audit requests.
• Reconcile accounts payable subledger to the general ledger and manage accruals.
• Assist with revenue recognition under ASC 606 and contract billing across contract types.
