Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is seeking a Staff Accountant to support general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, and accounts payable in a government contracting environment. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile ledgers, and assist with ASC 606 revenue recognition and contract billing.

The role collaborates with the Accounting Manager and program managers to ensure strong financial controls, timeliness, and compliance with FAR, DCAA, and Uniform Guidance

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ledger reconciliation experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post journal entries per GAAP, including accruals and depreciation.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist close processes.
• Support labor cost distribution, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and billing.
• Process vendor invoices, three‑way matching, and AP accruals.
• Prepare 1099 filings and respond to audits (DCAA/DCMA as applicable).
• Develop standard and ad‑hoc financial reports for management.
