Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Three or more years of general ledger or staff accounting experience, including government contracting exposure.
• Hands-on experience with Unanet GL processing and month-end utilities.
• Working knowledge of FAR Part 31 and DCAA audit requirements.
• GAAP and reconciliation practices with strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries including accruals and reclassifications per GAAP.
• Perform monthly close, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Assist with accounts payable, vendor and subcontractor invoicing, and 1099 filings.
• Support revenue recognition under ASC 606 and contract billing.
• Prepare reports for management and external audits (DCAA, DCMA, Uniform Guidance).
• Maintain vendor records and perform three-way invoice matching.
• Support project accounting and labor cost distribution across contracts.
