Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the general ledger, month-end close, and accounts payable in a government contracting environment. The role collaborates with the Accounting Manager and program teams to maintain strong financial controls and timely reporting.

Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, ASC 606 revenue recognition, project accounting, subcontractor payments, and 1099 filings.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Unanet, including GL processing and month-end utilities.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting reconciliations.
• Experience with FAR Part 31, DCAA requirements, and indirect rate structures.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaid amortization, depreciation, and reclassifications in accordance with GAAP.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations (cash, AR, unbilled receivables, AP, accruals, fixed assets).
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare schedules and analyses including budget-to-actual and variance reports for overhead and G&A.
• Review vendor/subcontractor invoices and ensure proper coding and approvals.
• Assist with 1099 filings and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Support audits including DCAA/DCMA and Uniform Guidance procedures.
