RethinkFirst is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This role will be a key contributor to our accounting function, partnering with leadership to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities include daily accounting tasks, month-end close support, and ensuring GAAP compliance. Remote-first organization with nationwide reach offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Strong Excel skills incl. PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities including bank reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist month-end close including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Support external auditors with requested documentation.
