Job summary

RemoteHunter is seeking a Staff Accountant for a full-time, remote role serving the United States. The position focuses on accurate accounts payable processing, employee expense reporting, and supporting the full accounting cycle within a public media services environment.

As an entry-level role, you will learn and contribute to month-end close, vendor communications, and reconciliations while using Sage Intacct and Excel. Collaboration with cross-departmental teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Entry-level background with core knowledge of payables, expenses, and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with accounting systems.
• Strong communication with vendors and internal teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Sage Intacct familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and manage the AP inbox in Sage Intacct.
• Verify and process employee expense reports and card reconciliations.
• Maintain bank statements and prepaid expense reconciliations.
• Assist month-end close and support year-end audits.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting processes.
