Job summary

CHE Behavioral Health Services is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to own the full-cycle accounts payable and support month-end close. The role operates in a paperless, cloud-based environment using Sage Intacct and Bill.com, with remote capabilities across the United States.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of accounting experience, solid GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel. CPA progress is a plus, and collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, including AP and month-end close.
• Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct and Bill.com required.
• Strong GAAP and general ledger accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups).
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle AP process, from invoice receipt to payment using Bill.com.
• Process bi-monthly employee expense reimbursements with proper documentation.
• Record journal entries and perform month-end close tasks.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analyze variances.
• Collaborate with other departments and support audits and process improvements.
