Job summary

Ridgeford Operations, based in Phoenix, seeks a Staff Accountant to manage client and internal books remotely across the United States. You will record payables and expenses, reconcile accounts, and prepare month-end journal entries.

This role requires a degree in accounting or finance, proficiency with QuickBooks Online and other systems, and strong Excel skills. You’ll support cost comparisons for clients and help the outside CPA with closing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or an associate degree and a year of bookkeeping work.
• Month-end reconciliations in QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage or a similar system.
• Excel, including pivot tables and XLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Record payables, receivables and expense reports in QuickBooks Online.
• Reconcile the bank, credit card and payroll clearing accounts each month.
• Prepare month-end journal entries and the trial balance for our outside CPA.
• Pull purchase price, scrap and expedite costs from client data for a cost comparison.
• Invoice clients for finished project phases and follow up on late payments.

Education
