StackAdapt is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. You will support the month-end close, prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and analyze variances across balance sheets and P&L accounts.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and help document accounting processes while leveraging automation and AI to improve workflows. Remote-first with Canada-wide eligibility during onboarding.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of professional accounting experience, including month-end close.
• CPA designation or working towards it.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries, including accruals related to marketing, commissions, employee benefits, and payroll.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve reconciling items.
• Perform monthly fluctuation analysis across balance sheet and P&L accounts with explanations for variances.
• Review financial information from cross-functional teams to validate accuracy.
• Maintain well-supported workpapers for audits and document processes for consistency.
