Job summary

Humana is seeking a Lead Technology Leadership Professional to drive the transformation of our Site Reliability Engineering organization through AI-powered operations and automation. You will partner with technology leaders and engineering teams to improve AIOps strategy, expand automation, and reduce toil across the enterprise.

This hands-on leadership role guides small teams on strategic milestones, with a focus on SRE best practices, performance metrics, and executive updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of project, technical, or team leadership experience in SRE, DevOps or automation.
• Hands-on experience with application, automation, or AIOps technologies.
• Experience with software testing practices including unit testing and mocking frameworks.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex decisions.
• Experience creating metrics, dashboards, and executive updates.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management for senior leaders.
• Collaboration across engineering, operations and business teams to drive outcomes.
• Passion for automation and improving customer experiences.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Lead SRE/DevOps transformation initiatives from planning through delivery.
• Advance AI-powered operations and automation across the enterprise.
• Partner with technology leaders and engineering teams to refine AIOps strategy.
• Oversight of projects to improve operational efficiency and reduce toil.
• Mentor and lead small teams advancing automation footprints within SRE.
• Provide technical guidance and executive-level updates on milestones.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology

5+ years of project, technical, or team leadership experience

Experience leading technology initiatives from planning through execution

Hands-on experience with application, automation, or AIOps technologies

Experience with software testing practices (unit testing, mocks)
