Job summary

Humana seeks a Lead Technology Leadership Professional to transform our Site Reliability Engineering organization with AI-powered operations and automation. You will partner with technology leaders and engineering teams to drive AIOps strategy, efficiency, and enterprise automation.

You will lead small teams, manage strategic milestones, and advise executives while demonstrating a passion for learning and innovation in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IT or related field.
• 5+ years of leadership in SRE/DevOps/automation environments.
• Experience leading tech initiatives from planning through delivery.
• Hands-on experience with automation or AIOps technologies.
• Experience with testing practices, including unit testing.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex situations.
• Experience creating metrics and executive updates.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to influence leaders.
• Proven collaboration across engineering, operations, and business teams.
• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to advance the automation footprint within the SRE org.
• Partner with technology leaders to improve the AIOps strategy.
• Drive milestones for the AIOps program and related initiatives.
• Ensure production schedules and product quality requirements are met.
• Provide technical support across engineering, operations, and marketing teams.
• Advise executives on functional strategies and roadmaps.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and teammates.
• Leverage SRE best practices to reduce toil via automation.
• Engage with Humana leadership to align strategic outcomes.
