Position Overview: Provides processing and sales support for loan applications received from Wholesale Loan Brokers. Collaborates with Account Executives and Brokers to manage loan applications from submission to closing, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws. The target pay range is $50,000 to $70,000 annually.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the main communication link between the Broker and various departments, including Underwriting, Quality Control, Docs, and Funding.
  2. Maintain excellent customer service standards.
  3. Verify credit reports, flood certificates, and review appraisals as needed.
  4. Ensure compliance with deadlines for pre-disclosures, approval letters, cancellations, and declinations.
  5. Monitor incoming documents and verify data submitted by brokers.
  6. Obtain and clear stipulations from brokers prior to funding, as required.
  7. Proactively manage the pipeline to ensure timely loan funding.
  8. Update Account Executives on pipeline status daily.
  9. Communicate regularly with brokers and update relevant parties.
  10. Accurately enter data into the system and maintain data integrity.
  11. Identify and communicate discrepancies in title, appraisals, credit, employment, income, and other loan-related items.
  12. Order verifications of employment and deposits to assist in pre-funding quality control.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to handle confidential information regarding loan applicants.
  • Background in FHA & VA loan processes.
  • Knowledge of RESPA regulations related to GFE.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer skills.
  • Educational background equivalent to a Bachelor's degree combined with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience as a Wholesale Account Manager or mortgage Loan Processor, working with multiple brokers and loan products.
  • Thorough knowledge of wholesale loan production and mortgage processing.
