Provides processing and sales support for loan applications received from Wholesale Loan Brokers. Works with assigned Account Executives and Brokers to facilitate the management of the loan applications from submission to closing. Performs all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, as well as all US state and federal laws and regulations where the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $50,000 to $70,000.

What You’ll Do
  • Main contact of communication and support between the Broker and various departments of the company throughout the loan process, including but not limited to Account Executives, Underwriting, Quality Control, Docs, and Funding.
  • Responsible for providing excellent customer service.
  • Pulls or verifies credit reports, flood certifications, and reviews appraisals as needed.
  • Ensures compliance deadlines are met regarding pre-disclosures, approval letters, cancellations, and declinations.
  • Monitors incoming documents from Brokers, verifying the data collected and submitted.
  • Obtains necessary stipulations from brokers and clears them prior to funding as required by underwriting.
  • Proactively monitors the pipeline to ensure timely funding of loans.
  • Meets with Account Executives to discuss their pipelines and provides daily updates.
  • Communicates with Brokers at least every other day and updates all relevant parties.
  • Enters required data into the system and maintains its accuracy.
  • Informs the Broker and Account Executive about discrepancies in title, appraisals, credit, employment, income, and other related items.
  • Orders Verifications of Employment and Deposits to assist with pre-funding QC processes.
What You'll Need
  • Maintains highly confidential information concerning loan applicants.
  • Background in FHA & VA loans.
  • Full knowledge of RESPA regulations related to the GFE.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple files simultaneously.
  • Constant communication with borrowers, brokers, agents, loan officers, and internal staff.
  • Coordination of various duties; familiarity with office machines; ability to sit for extended periods; normal hearing and vision.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer skills.
  • Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least five years of experience as a Wholesale Account Manager or mortgage Loan Processor with multiple Brokers, Account Executives, Investors, and loan products.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of wholesale loan production and mortgage loan processing.
