Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise SQL Server environments (on-prem and Azure).
• Deep expertise in SQL Server, SSMS, T‑SQL, and performance tuning.
• Proven ability to implement HA/DR and security controls (RBAC, encryption).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade SQL Server instances across environments.
• Monitor health, optimize performance, and resolve blocking/deadlocks.
• Design and implement HA/DR solutions (Always On, Log Shipping, Failover Clustering).
• Develop and review T‑SQL, SSIS packages, and ETL processes; support developers.
• Secure data with RBAC, encryption at rest/in transit, and Azure-based security tools.
• Automate maintenance with T‑SQL/PowerShell scripts and reporting.
