Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on enterprise SQL Server DBA experience.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade SQL Server instances.
• Monitor and optimize performance, queries, indexes, and T-SQL scripts.
• Manage backups, recovery, replication, and HA/DR.
• Administer Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL MI, and SQL Server on Azure VMs.
• Implement database security, RBAC, encryption, and access controls.
• Support developers with database design and code reviews.
• Automate DBA tasks with T-SQL and PowerShell.
• Perform migrations between on-premises SQL Server and Azure.
• Provide Tier III support and resolve complex issues.
• Develop documentation and database administration standards.
