Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking an experienced SQA Testing Lead to enhance the reliability and performance of our software products. You will lead and mentor the SQA team, design test plans, and contribute to QA strategies across the SDLC.

Qualifications

3+ years' work experience as a software testing lead.
Proven work experience in software testing and software quality assurance.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Analytical problem-solving skills.
Ability to juggle multiple projects and people at the same time.
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences.
High level of attention to detail and integrity.

Responsibilities

Lead the SQA Testing Team by guiding and contributing to the development of SQA strategies.
Design, implement, and maintain quality assurance plans including, but not limited to, validation procedures, test plans, and test cases.
Work with and communicate with SQA Team Members, Technical Business Analysts, System Analysts, Developers, and Clients.
Define testing strategies to ensure product(s) meet necessary standards.
Collaborate with teams to ensure SQA integration with the full SDLC where appropriate.
Monitor SQA team velocity and capacity to optimize workload.
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
Develop and execute automation scripts.
Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements.
Monitor debugging process results.
Investigate causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
Track quality metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
