Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, share clinical knowledge, and navigate payer environments. You will drive territory sales, deliver branded messages, and support access and contracts while building strong customer relationships.

The role requires a sales background in pharma/healthcare, capability to communicate complex information, and willingness to work across Detroit and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales preferred
• Ability to communicate clinical information to medical professionals

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization
• Deliver branded sales messages and conduct planned programs to achieve sales targets
• Develop relationships to service accounts, manage access, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory plans with the District Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and learn from others
• Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle and uphold Amgen values
