Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative to serve medical professionals with clinical product knowledge and help navigate payer environments in the Detroit, Warren, Saint Clair Shores, Grosse Pointe, MI area.

The role targets both Specialty and Senior Specialty Representative levels, focusing on executing marketing strategy, promoting Amgen products, and achieving territorial sales objectives through a mix of in-person and virtual engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and sales/healthcare experience.
• Associate degree with 4 years of sales experience.
• High school diploma/GED with 6 years of sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of sales or clinical experience (Senior).
• Associate degree with 6 years of sales or clinical experience (Senior).
• High school diploma/GED with 8 years of sales or clinical experience (Senior).

Responsibilities

• Provide current knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Lead sales programs to achieve territory targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Develop relationships to service accounts, discuss needs, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and contribute to territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative.
• Maintain brand integrity and uphold Amgen values throughout the sales cycle.
