Job summary

Amgen, a leader in biotech, seeks a Specialty Account Manager, Referral in the United States to represent Rare Disease products to Primary Care, Podiatry and Orthopedic physicians and professionals. You will build relationships, identify referral opportunities, and collaborate with Rheumatology and Nephrology teams to grow the patient referral network.

You will develop territory plans, meet or exceed sales goals, deliver compliant messaging, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with 3 years sales in pharma/biotech or hospital sales.
• Associate degree with 6 years experience in pharma/biotech or hospital sales.
• High school diploma with 8 years experience in pharma/biotech or hospital sales.

Responsibilities

• Represent Amgen’s Rare Disease products to Primary Care/FP/GP/IM, Podiatry, and Orthopedic physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Establish biotech/infusion product sales and increase referrals to Rheumatology and Nephrology.
• Develop territory business plans to achieve/exceed annual sales goals.
• Promote Disease State awareness and product value to target customers.
• Provide account management support to PCP, Podiatry and Orthopedic accounts.
• Communicate territory activity and feedback to management.
