Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Account Manager, Referral to represent Rare Disease products to physicians and healthcare professionals, with the goal of increasing referrals and driving territory growth across primary care, podiatry and orthopedics.

You will collaborate with sales teams, develop plans, promote disease state awareness, and meet or exceed sales goals while adhering to compliance guidelines. Expect about 30% travel and flexible remote work arrangements where possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 3 years pharma/biotech sales experience.
• Associate degree with 6 years of sales experience.
• High school diploma with 8 years of sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent Amgen's Rare Disease products to Primary Care/FP/GP/IM, Podiatry, and Orthopedic physicians and healthcare professionals and establish Biotech/Infusion product sales.
• Increase referrals for appropriate patients to Rheumatology and Nephrology; perform total territory account management.
• Develop a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Promote disease state awareness and value of product to target customers.
• Communicate territory activity and provide feedback to leadership and other departments.
• Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
