Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking a dynamic Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager to promote IgG4-RD therapies and represent Amgen products to physicians and healthcare professionals.

You will establish product sales, manage a total territory, and educate medical professionals about disease and treatment options. The role requires building strategic account plans, navigating a matrix environment with Medical Affairs and Patient Access, and developing strong external partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience
• High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience
• Experience in matrix selling environment with cross-functional teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Represent Amgen products to physicians and healthcare professionals
• Establish product sales and perform total territory account management
• Provide disease information and education to medical professionals and external customers
• Execute strategic account business plan aligned with marketing goals
• Navigate healthcare landscape including IDNs and hospitals
• Develop relationships with local, regional and national KOLs
• Maintain high-level disease and therapeutic knowledge
• Use consultative selling to meet needs of Immunoglobulin-Related Disease (IgG4-RD) patients
• Ensure compliance and reporting in all activities
