Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Specialized Coder to review physician charges and ensure accurate coding for Cardiology, Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery or Vascular Surgery specialties. The position is remote, with possible travel to client sites as needed, and includes training, mentorship, and provider education support.

The ideal candidate holds CPC/CCS/RHIA/RHIT certifications, has 3+ years of coding experience, and is proficient with EPIC and standard medical software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of coding experience in physician coding.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.
• Experience with EPIC and coding software tools.

Responsibilities

• Code claims from medical records per coding guidelines.
• Maintain timely completion of work queues.
• Identify trends in charge review and assist with education of team.
