Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a Remote Physician Pro Fee Coding Specialist-Vascular Cardiology to review and assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes for professional services. You will ensure proper sequencing, modifiers, and payer guidelines, perform coding audits, collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams, and support compliant reimbursement across the organization.

Must have 2–4 years of physician coding experience; CCS/RHIT/AHIMA/CPC preferred; HIPAA compliant; Athena Collector experience

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of physician coding experience with professional fees.
• Coding certifications preferred (CCS, RHIT, RHIA, AHIMA, or AAPC).
• Experience with vascular/ specialty coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes for professional services.
• Ensure proper sequencing, modifiers, and place of service.
• Perform coding audits and support provider education.
• Collaborate with physicians and revenue cycle teams.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and data confidentiality.
