This remote role handles inbound and outbound calls, explains statements and EOBs, processes payments, and coordinates with internal teams to resolve billing concerns. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, with strong customer service skills and accuracy in healthcare conversations.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Strong customer service and communication skills in healthcare context.
• Experience with billing processes, EOBs, and statements preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry.
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle high volume inbound and outbound calls in a professional, patient-centered manner.
• Explain statements and EOBs to patients and collect payments.
• Document interactions accurately in billing systems and EHR/EMR platforms.
• Follow client scripts and procedures for calls and inquiries.
• Work across multiple billing and communication tools during calls.
• Identify and review billing discrepancies and escalate as needed.
