Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in healthcare administration, financial or insurance customer service, claims, billing, or call center.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive calls from customers regarding patient accounts including statements, billing, claims and denials.
• Investigate escalated billing inquiries and take action to resolve the account.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with customers and other staff.
• Route insurance and claims processing matters to appropriate staff for follow up.
• Explain medical insurance coverage benefits and out-of-pocket responsibilities.
• Answer questions about processing of medical claims and denials.
• Perform account hold resolutions, write-offs, and small balance reviews.
• Prepare correspondence related to invoices and payment history.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve delinquent accounts.
• Collect on accounts via mail, phone, or online methods.
