Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. is offering a remote summer internship in our Legal team, with the May–September window and full-time hours. We welcome 1Ls and 2Ls, and no prior space-law experience is required to apply.

You will work directly with experienced attorneys and regulatory specialists on space technology, government contracting, and export controls. The role emphasizes hands-on exposure to commercial space law, regulatory policy, and contract work, in a fast-growing startup environment that values

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a J.D. program; 1Ls and 2Ls welcome.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Genuine interest in space, technology, or government contracting.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices tracking license conditions and reporting obligations.
• Support contracts and NDAs, vendor agreements, and government contracts research.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research and write clear summaries and recommendations.
• Assist with filings, process documentation, and export-compliance recordkeeping.
