Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. seeks a Legal Intern for a full-time, remote role during May–September. Open to 1Ls and 2Ls with no prior space-law experience required.

You will work with our experienced attorneys on licensing, contracting, export controls, and regulatory policy related to space missions. You will gain hands-on exposure to commercial space law and government contracting while contributing to real projects and learning from aerospace professionals.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a J.D. program, 1Ls and 2Ls welcome.
• Strong research and writing skills are required.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices tracking license conditions and reporting obligations.
• Support the Legal and Contracts team with research and admin work on commercial agreements, government contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements.
• Conduct legal, regulatory, and market research and synthesize findings into clear written summaries and recommendations.
• Assist with filings, process documentation, and export-compliance recordkeeping.
