Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. is offering a full-time, remote Legal Intern position for summer, May–September. Open to 1Ls/2Ls with no space-law experience required; you will work with experienced attorneys on licenses, government contracts, and export controls.

You will gain hands-on exposure to regulatory policy and commercial space law, collaborating with a fast-growing team and contributing to projects with real impact on Muon’s operations and growth.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a J.D. program (1Ls and 2Ls welcome).
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Genuine interest in space, technology, or government contracting.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices that track license conditions, reporting obligations, and procedures.
• Support the broader Legal and Contracts team with research and administrative work on commercial agreements, government contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements.
• Conduct legal, regulatory, and market research and synthesize findings into clear written summaries and recommendations.
• Assist with additional legal, corporate and regulatory projects as they come up, including filings, process documentation, and export-compliance recordkeeping.
