Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. is seeking a Legal Intern for a remote summer internship (May–Sept). You will work with experienced attorneys on space regulatory matters, government contracts, and export controls, gaining hands-on exposure while contributing to real projects.

Currently enrolled in a JD program (1Ls and 2Ls welcome), you are detail-oriented, a strong writer, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment supporting a growing space startup that values mentorship and impactful work.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a J.D. program (1Ls and 2Ls welcome)
• Strong research and writing skills
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• Genuine interest in space, technology, or government contracting
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices that track license conditions, reporting obligations, and procedures
• Support the broader Legal and Contracts team with research and administrative work on commercial agreements, government contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements
• Conduct legal, regulatory, and market research and synthesize findings into clear written summaries and recommendations
• Assist with additional legal, corporate and regulatory projects as they come up, including filings, process documentation, and export-compliance recordkeeping
